I have not had a lot of experience with really interesting audio stories in my life. I feel like I would so much rather just go and watch a documentary about someone then listen to it. Isn't that natural being a film major and all? Maybe not, just because we are suppose to appreciate all types of narratives.
Anyways, after asking my brother and listening around to a few podcasts he suggested that I might like I came across one that was actually appealing and interesting to me:

This podcast is called "Stuff You Should Know". Sometimes they talk about very realistic and things that are important to humanity, but other times they just ramble on about really random stuff. In this episode the people discuss whether or not Atlantis is real and why or why not? Some people may think, "Why even listen? What a waste of my time. I could care less if Atlantis is real." -- Like my room mate just commented.
I would respond something along the lines of, "Why do you watch Prison Break? Or Lost? Or The Office? Isn't that such a waste of time?"
Anyways, each podcast has it's own purpose. It's a lot of fun to just get out there and see what people are thinking about. There are a lot of things on podcasts that you just don't get from TV or film.
