Wow. I love this. I feel like the one second films was a jumpy and difficult idea but you made it look smooth. You make it look like you chose to make it this way rather than being assigned. I like the tunnel, black and white, downward vision. What else can I say, this was Awesome.
I thought this was really well linked together, like Mack said. The linking up of your two routes of walking helped unify the whole piece at the end, which was a really neat thing. I liked the variety of shots you were able to piece together; walking could seem like a boring thing but with lots of different terrain it can be an interesting look at something we don't normally observe.
I thought this was a cool way to do this assignment. Instead of giving us varied images of the subjects' lives, we were only given a small portion of screen to show that they were going somewhere. For me, this allowed my imagination to make up the majority of the story. Even though there was a climax, so I suppose everything else did lead up to it, I felt very much in control of the story of the characters because not much was forced upon me, yet I was following specific people. Very cool idea.
