This chapter you read this week is called "Taking a Stand"; how might creation within a digital environment be an act of civic participation? What does the reading lead you to believe about the role of the artist in society? What are the challenges and rewards of representing others in our work? Of representing ourselves?
If possible, think of (and direct us to) your own example of an individual or a group that uses digital media storytelling as way to effectively act for a cause.
