-What are your project’s strengths and weaknesses as a podcast?

I feel like the strengths to my podcast is the subject matter. I was fortunate enough to have a great person to interview who has a great story to tell. He is what makes it interesting and keeps it moving. Another strength is the music. I decided that since he is talking about Handel's Messiah I might as well put some of the songs in the podcast to give the audience an idea of what it is. One of the weaknesses however is the fade in and outs of the music. Sometimes the levels are off which distracts to what is being said. This was mostly due to the fact that I have used garage band very little and wasn't sure how to fix it so I had to make do.

-What did you learn about yourself as an artist while creating this assignment?

During this assignment I learned that I want to be very much like what he explains. At the end of the podcast Scott talks about being worthy of the stories that God would have us tell, and I realized that I want to be worthy of receiving and telling those stories. I want to live in such a way that is conducive to the spirit and allows me to receive inspiration in what I need to do, and what stories I specifically need to tell.

-What does it mean to you to be a Mormon artist?

To me being a Mormon artist is simple. It is to create to inspire. The things that we do, and the things that we create should lift others, teach others, and inspire others to be better. This is often times done not only through our artwork, but through our examples. To be a mormon artist is to build others and glorify God in our work, and what a blessing that is.
