One thing that I felt was a strength was how Luc put his art into a context. He related it to his major and future life goals. Also, I used several song samples in order to give the audience the widest selection of his music as possible. Another thing that stood out to me was that Luc spoke kind of monotone. Now, that could be seen as either a strength or a weakness, depending on the person. I could be a strength because he was understandable the whole time he spoke. It could be a weakness because, to some, he could sound a little boring. Also, it runs just past 5 minutes. That may be a little too long for some people. If I had cut it shorter, I wouldn't run the risk of losing my audience.
I didn't really learn anything new while creating this podcast. It did, however, make me reflect on my filmmaking. Luc says that everyone chooses a medium to channel their creativity. For me, that channel is video. I was reminded of why I chose video as my medium. In hindsight, I should have asked him why music, specifically, appeals to him as a creative channel.
I really don't see how being a Mormon reflects my art, other than the typical "be careful of content". Well, maybe the influence is so subconscious that I don't even notice it.
